Spectators must make note that flash photography is never permitted at any competition whilst any gymnast is on apparatus. You are permitted to use flash photography only when the places are being awarded at the very end of the session. The reason for this is that the flash can either startle your child, or another child competing. This could cause them to fall off the apparatus or forget their routine. Please make sure that you check your cameras before any competition begins. Spectators that insist on using flash during competition can have their cameras confiscated and returned at the end of the competition.

State Trials

There are two state trials for each Level in each region. The 1st trial and 2nd trial are normally held 2 or 3 weeks apart. Qualifying gymnasts from the combined scores of these two trials will be selected to compete at the State Championships.

State Championships

The State Championships are held after all regions have had their state trials and submitted their qualifying gymnasts. The gymnasts in each level and age group compete against each other for the State Champions.
